The Wheel: The American Roulette wheel has numbered pockets from 1-36 as well as a pocket for 0 and 00. English Roulette only has the single 0 pocket. The numbers alternate from even to odd and are colored either red or black. The 0 and 00 pockets are colored green. The dealer or croupier then spins the wheel in one direction and rolls a small, white ball in the other. When the ball finally drops into one of the pockets.

The Table: Shows each number from the wheel lined up in three columns of 12 numbers with the same color (red or black) as shown on the wheel. The rest of the table shows several different ways to be like red or black, odd or even and so on. The 0 and 00 are both located outside the columns of numbers and are colored green.

Inside Bets: These bets include the straight bet (betting on one number), the split bet (betting on two numbers), the street/trio/three number bet (betting on a row of numbers), the corner/square/four number bet (betting on four numbers), the five number bet (betting that either the 0, 00, 1, 2 or 3 will hit) and the six line bet (betting that one of six numbers in two adjacent rows will hit).
Outside Bets: These bets include the red or black, odd or even bets, low bet (any number between 1 and 18), high bet (19-36), dozen bet (either 1-12, 13-24, 25-36) and the column bet (betting on a column of numbers).
